From this property, CBIG secures its Fireclay and Shale reserves for the manufacturing of Refractory and Architectural Masonry products in its plant in Abbotsford.
CBIG is also party to a Joint Venture with Lafarge Canada Inc. called Sumas Shale Ltd., this Joint Venture secures Shale and Sandstone materials from this same mine site on Sumas Mt., which is used for the making of Cement in plants located in Vancouver, BC and Seattle WA.
